Winchester and Western Railroad Supports Fire Safety with Donation to Upper Deerfield Fire Department
OmniTRAX Safe Shipper Awards presented to local rail shippers that have demonstrated spotless rail safety excellence
August 24, 2022 – Bridgeton, N.J. – Winchester & Western Railroad Company (W&W) a managed affiliate of OmniTRAX – The Broe Group’s transportation affiliate – presented a community donation to the Upper Deerfield Fire Department at a ceremony honoring W&W’s New Jersey Division recipient of the 2021 OmniTRAX Safe Shipper Award. The OmniTRAX Safe Shipper Award recognizes companies that model exemplary shipping safety by shipping or receiving loaded cars with no accidental releases during the previous year.
“OmniTRAX is proud to salute a W&W shipping partner that has demonstrated spotless shipping safety,” said OmniTRAX Senior Vice President of Operations John Bradley. “The Safe Shipper award recognizes consistency and commitment, and this year’s award winner has demonstrated both of these essential safety traits.”
The 2021 OmniTRAX Safe Shipper Award recipient for the W&W’s New Jersey Division is National Refrigerants. A $1,000 contribution was made to the Upper Deerfield Fire Department in their name.

The Upper Deerfield Fire Department serves the Bridgton community in southwestern New Jersey.
