The CCRL brings with it significant transload and industrial development opportunities available to serve multimodal or manufacturing transportation needs with connections to Norfolk Southern and Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway. With the purchase of both the Cleveland Commercial Railroad (CCRL) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Cleveland Harbor Belt Railroad (CHB), the OmniTRAX family of railroads has expanded its current presence in Cleveland through the existing Newburgh & South Shore Railroad. The CCRL consists of two distinct segments, with one segment from Cleveland, OH to Glenwillow, OH and the other from Von Willer Yard, Cleveland to Aurora, OH.
