DENVER – Greg Ferraro, Vice President of Supply Chain at OmniTRAX, Inc., one of the largest privately held rail and transportation service companies in North America and an affiliate of The Broe Group, presented a session on last mile logistics solutions for the energy industry at the Canadian Frac Sand Conference in Calgary this week. The Canadian Frac Sand Conference is a two-day conference featuring industry leaders discussing issues ranging from frac sand market supply and demand forecasts to new rail infrastructure and last-mile transportation strategies.

Ferraro’s presentation focused on the benefits of containerized last mile sand delivery, as well as other key areas of the sand supply chain to further improve operational efficiencies and profit margins. He also gave examples of how OmniTRAX Energy Solutions, and its affiliate Arrows Up, which provides containerized last mile solutions with support services, is using its innovative last mile solution to help energy and mining companies improve the safety and performance of the entire supply chain.
