OmniTRAX Executive Participates in BizWest Energy Summit Panel

DENVER – Tim Eklund, Vice President of Transload and Logistics at OmniTRAX, Inc., one of the largest privately held transportation service companies in North America and an affiliate of The Broe Group, is speaking on a panel about transload facilities at the BizWest Energy Summit “The Ranch” at Larimer County Fairgrounds in Loveland today. Titled On Track, the session will share trends in transloading, including current activities and potential opportunities.

“The Northern Colorado energy community that attends the BizWest Energy Summit is an important audience for us, so I’m eager to share our vision for the transload industry during this panel. We’ll review how the industry is helping energy shippers dramatically improve the efficiency of their supply chains by using third party logistics experts and present several business use cases to validate transloading,” said Eklund, who also serves as President of OmniTRAX Logistics Services, LLC (OLS).

In addition to Eklund, members of the On Track panel include Adam Bedard, CEO, ARB Midstream; Bud Mushlitz, President, Rail Services and Facilities, Omaha Track and Chris Gall, Vice President, Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing, Calfrac Well Services Ltd.

OLS currently operates transload and terminal facilities on OmniTRAX–affiliated railroads located in Windsor, CO.; Sand Springs (Tulsa), OK; Brownsville, TX and Peru, IL. Through these existing facilities, OLS handles a diverse range of commodities, including industrial products, steel, building products, frac sand, chemicals and plastics.
