OmniTRAX Joins the Northern Colorado Economic Alliance
Posted On: September 3, 2015

WINDSOR, COLO. –  OmniTRAX Inc., an affiliate of The Broe Group and one of the largest privately held rail service companies in North America, is proud to announce it has joined the Northern Colorado Economic Alliance (NCEA), an economic development organization that launched earlier this year.

“We are pleased to have OmniTRAX and it’s affiliates as part of our new and expanding organization,” said Scott Ehrlich, Board President of NCEA.  “They have a proven track record all their own of attracting leading manufacturers to the region, and the access OmniTRAX provides to its network of railways is invaluable to local businesses.”

OmniTRAX and its Broe Group affiliates have spent years developing the Great Western Industrial Park (GWIP) in Windsor, which is home to companies such as Vestas, Carestream, Front Range Energy, Halliburton, Hexcel, Kodak, Colorado National Guard, Musket, Cargill and Schlumberger.

Earlier this year, GWIP announced that its tenants would be adding approximately 575 new jobs in 2015.  In addition, Crall Products is planning to build a facility in the park before 2017, further bolstering job growth in the region.

“We have always had great economic development partners that have helped us market the region,” said OmniTRAX CEO Kevin Shuba.  “NCEA is a welcomed addition to those efforts, and we are proud to have their support as we drive the next industrial renaissance and job growth in northern Colorado.”

Added Jenni Stanford, Senior Director of Industrial Development for GWIP:  “The ripple effects of high-paying manufacturing positions, like the ones we have at the Great Western Industrial Park, are thousands of indirect jobs and more people putting money back into the local economy. We look forward to working with NCEA and the region’s other EDCs to keep this momentum going.”

“At Broe, we see an industrial renaissance in the U.S., which we are helping to accelerate through continued investment and growth in Great Western Industrial Park,” said Claude Pumilia, Chief Operating Officer of The Broe Group. “We are always pleased to be able to add jobs, including direct employment for our OmniTRAX, Great Western Oil & Gas and Broe Real Estate Services affiliates, as well as indirectly through GWIP business growth and expansion in northern Colorado.”
