GEOTRAC Launches Marketing Effort
Posted On: September 22, 2015

DENVER – GEOTRAC Industrial Hub, a heavy industry center being developed by an affiliate of OmniTRAX, Inc., one of the largest privately held rail and transportation service companies in North America, is making a major push to entice businesses to the Port of Brownsville. As part of the effort, GEOTRAC introduced its website (www.geotracindustrialhub.com) and produced a promotional video that showcases available sites in the hub and the latest opportunities to work with GEOTRAC.

GEOTRAC Industrial Hub is the result of a strategic relationship between the Port of Brownsville and OmniTRAX that is developing thousands of acres for a world-class industrial hub. The land, with its infrastructure that connects to the port and the Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway, is well-suited for light and heavy manufacturing, logistics, energy services and export/import warehousing.

“The team at GEOTRAC Industrial Hub, along with the Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway and the Port of Brownsville, is excited to share our vision for the site with potential partners wanting to locate facilities in this fast growing region,” said Kevin Shuba, CEO of OmniTRAX.

The key features of the GEOTRAC website include detailed information about the Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway and the Port of Brownsville, maps of available land and the infrastructure network, news about the development and other resources. The video covers all aspects of the development, highlighting the benefits for companies locating in the hub.

“The GEOTRAC website and video are designed to clearly present how each capability of the hub, including the railroad, logistics services, port terminals and other operations, work together to provide business partners with everything they need to be successful,” said Alan Simon, Vice President of Industrial Development at OmniTRAX.

Simon also announced that GEOTRAC is hosting an open house for customers and potential partners December 9, 2015. More information will be available shortly.

Philanthropic Activities

GEOTRAC is making a series of local charitable donations and is launching a community support program. Among the organizations supported are The Walk For Women, Texas State Technical College, United Way Of Southern Cameron County, Texas Southmost College and University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley.

Note to Editors: The video is available for viewing on the GEOTRAC website. Hi-res photos of the hub are also available.
