BRG SS 04.14.2021OmniTRAX Safe Shipper Award presented to six Brownsville area companies with spotless safety records

BROWNSVILLE, TEX.  –Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway (BRG), a managed affiliate of OmniTRAX – the Colorado-based transportation affiliate of The Broe Group, today presented a contribution to the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce at a ceremony honoring six local recipients of the inaugural OmniTRAX Safe Shipper Award. The OmniTRAX Safe Shipper Award is presented to companies that modeled exemplary shipping safety by shipping or receiving loaded cars with no accidental releases during the previous year.

The 2020 OmniTRAX Safe Shipper Award recipients on the BRG are ABC Gulf Coast Terminal, Bluewing, LLC, Maverick, LLC, Savage Services Corp, Trans Montaigne Partners LP and Valero Marketing. $1,000 contributions were made in the name of each safety award recipient.

OmniTRAX is pleased to make a donation to the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce on their behalf to boost collaboration on security issues in the region,” said OmniTRAX Chief Operating Officer Gord Anutooshkin Chief.

Brownsville Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Esmy Villarreal said, “The Chamber is very appreciative of the support OmniTRAX and the BRG are providing to our membership. The donation received helps us further our mission, stimulate the local economy through programs, events, and services that spotlight the respective industries of our membership and encourage entrepreneurs to conduct business locally.”
