GEOTRAC to Host Open House July 28, 2015

DENVER – GEOTRAC Industrial Hub, which is being developed by an affiliate of OmniTRAX, Inc., one of the largest privately held rail and transportation service companies in North America, is holding an open house for economic development officials and other interested parties in the Rio Grande Valley Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Attendees will tour the newly developed incubator site, see other GEOTRAC locations and visit the Port of Brownsville. They will also learn about the latest opportunities to work with GEOTRAC at the Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway offices (12650 State Hwy 48, Brownsville, TX 78521), where the event will start and finish.

“The team at GEOTRAC Industrial Hub, along with the Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway and the Port of Brownsville, is excited to share our vision of the site with potential partners and look forward to collaborating with the economic development agencies in the region. This event will help kick off what we hope are a series of long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships that will drive growth throughout the Rio Grande Valley,” said Alan Simon, Vice President of Industrial Development at OmniTRAX and master of ceremonies for the event.

In addition to Simon, scheduled to speak at the event are:

  • Norma Torres, President of Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway, LLC.
  • Eduardo Campirano, Director of the Port of Brownsville

GEOTRAC also recently launched its website, www.geotracindustrialhub.com, which lists the many benefits of locating at the development and features detailed information on the Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway and the Port of Brownsville. The site also includes a series of maps that will help potential customers select the best location in the development to suit their needs.
