Corporate Development Senior Associate

The Corporate Development Sr. Associate will work together with the OmniTRAX Corporate Development team to drive all corporate development-related activities, with a specific focus on acquisition-related integration activities and strategic business development management activities for OmniTRAX, Inc. and its related businesses. The position will lead OmniTRAX strategic growth initiatives and be responsible for the successful execution of the greater corporate vision.


The Corporate Development Sr. Associate will be involved in deal activity prior to close, supporting the team’s assessment of the opportunity and hypothetical risks and issues. The position will also manage key due diligence activities required for successful acquisition and subsequent integration. Creation and management to detailed Cutover and Integration Plans for acquisitions will be required, along with the utilization of strong interpersonal and program / project management capabilities to successfully act as lead for such activities. As part of the team accountable for strategic growth of the company, an equivalent level of involvement will occur for business development opportunities to ensure they yield desired outcomes for OmniTRAX.


This position requires someone with an exceptional level of drive and excellent communication skills (oral/ written) to ensure that integration and business development goals are achieved and that issues are quickly identified and resolved. Analytical acumen as well as emotional intelligence are also necessary for success. The Corporate Development Sr. Associate position is unique as it plays across the strategic / tactical continuum, as well as has interaction with and access to all levels within the company. It requires comfort with a fast-paced and challenging “Private Equity-like” environment, one with tactical flexibility for day-to-day activities, yet rigorous attention and management to the overall plan and strategic vision for the opportunity and the company.



  • Manage acquisitions, business development programs and projects for OmniTRAX, Inc. and related companies
  • Act as key point of contact for activity coordination as well as tactical troubleshooter to ensure roadblocks are overcome and opportunities are successfully executed to results
  • Exemplify daily and continuously improve established Cutover, Integration and Business Development-related processes, systems, tools and metrics to ensure that multiple deal efforts can successfully occur concurrently
  • Develop deal-specific Cutover and Integration Plans (scope, schedule, milestones, activities, resources, budget) for acquisitions, as well as Business Realization Plans for strategic business development opportunities
  • Develop integration objectives within customized plans as part of opportunity assessment and due diligence processes. Determine scope, project plans, resource plans (team / funds), key milestones, metrics, risk registers and additional integration dynamics to ensure outcomes
  • Ensure that committed progress is achieved and hold all supporting parties accountable for their specific activities and deliverables
  • Develop, implement and manage status reviews and follow-up meetings. Execute on escalation and resolution plans to ensure team progress is not hampered and issues are addressed with speed
  • Interface and collaborate with all stakeholders (corporate development team, target / opportunity management and staff, finance, legal, operations, commercial, risk and engineering functions) to execute successfully while minimizing interference to OmniTRAX’ ongoing business activities
  • Assist with the development of greater strategic objectives for the company, as well as requisite tools / planning to execute and report out on status to executive leadership and teams
  • Must be skilled at handling multiple priorities, tight deadlines, performance management and handling large team dynamics, including the motivation of team members towards defined goals

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience required
  • Business management, analytical and financial acumen required
  • Strong planning, prioritization and organizational skills
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, project management software / tools
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a high degree of integrity
  • Ability to communicate professionally and persuasively at all organizational levels (including C-suite)
  • Proven repetitive success in managing large scale, complex, multi-stakeholder corporate programs
  • Proven repetitive success in managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to maintain focus on greater picture, in light of distractions and / or setbacks
  • Demonstrated knowledge of processes and tools to achieve outcomes
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate cause / effects and develop mitigation plans or escalate with a solution

  • Business administration or engineering degree preferred
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Transportation fields
  • Experience in M&A integration, corporate development and/or management consulting preferred, other implementation / change management experience will be considered
  • MBA or Master’s degree preferred
  • Project Management professional certification preferred (PMP, CAPM)
